Five bands lent their services for Rhyl lifeboat station's first ever music festival.
Raising spirits on a blustery, overcast day, Rhyl RNLI's 53° North event welcomed residents for four hours of music, cake and 'mocktails' to raise money for a state of the art, Shannon class vessel.
It is anticipated that nearly £600 was raised to help the Rhyl Shannon appeal.
Martin Jones Rhyl Coxswain said: “The generosity of the people of from the area never ceases to amaze us. We are very grateful to the acts who gave their services for free, and the public who donated generously.
Joining RNLI team members were female vocalist Caz McElroy, duo MavMac who donned crew gear and danced to rap classics anthems, the Ruby Blues Band and headliner The Old Scrotes. Singer songwriter Christian Parry also joined the bill at the last minute to replace another act who had to drop out.
Callum Robinson, one of the event co-ordinators said: "All the hard work was worth it, I thank everybody who pulled the event together, especially the acts. We hope to carry on this event to make it an annual part of the Rhyl entertainments scene."
Anyone wishing to donate to the Shannon appeal can do so at rnli.org or just call the station on 01745 344040.
