BE PREPARED for an amazing trip to Wonderland this weekend in Rhyl.

Junior members of Powerplay Musical Theatre Company will be transforming the Little Theatre in Rhyl to the wonderful world of Wonderland for just four performances on Friday, April 6 and Saturday 7.

The young performers, ranging from the ages of eight to 11, have been working hard over the last few months in order to put together the spectacular show, full of catchy songs and funky choreography.

Amy Fenwick, director of the show, said: “I am immensely proud of all my students and the hard work they have put into this show. They really bring the story to life into what promises to be a truly magical performance.”

The world's most famous journey into a rabbit hole receives the musical treatment here, adding a whole new dimension to encounters with the weird and wacky icons Cheshire Cat, March Hare and the Mad Hatter.

With shrinking and growing, a few tea parties and a game of croquet to be played, this is a show full of fun and laughter and enjoyment for all the family.

Tickets are £10, with 3pm and 7pm showings on both Friday, April 6 and Saturday 7.
