PIRATES of the Carabina bring an exclusive run of their brand-new show to Bangor.

Audiences in Bangor will be treated to a brand-new circus show at Pontio between January 16 and 21, 2018 that’s guaranteed to kick start the New Year in style.

The Bangor dates will be an exclusive run from the makers of FLOWN, in advance of the show going to London’s Roundhouse.

Exhilaratingly anarchic, with an inventive, interconnected set and original live score, Relentless Unstoppable Human Machine (RUHM) delves bravely into the fantastical imaginations of two fated acrobats. Contraptions, fixtures and fittings come to life, as our heroes begin to question their place in it all.

Adventure into a world of mechanical chaos, where everything has a mind of its own and connections appear in unexpected ways.

Featuring vertical-swinging trapeze, never-ending ropes, a spinning carousel, high-wire and a very temperamental staircase, RUHM offers up a playful, humorous modernist parable about time, technology and the forces that drive us.

Elen ap Robert, artistic director, at Pontio said: “We’re delighted that the Pirates of the Carabina are returning to Bangor with a brand new show."

The show is on at Theatr Bryn Terfel, Pontio, Bangor, on Tuesday, January 16 (Preview) 7.30pm and January 17-20, 7.30pm, and Sunday, January 21, at 2pm.
