Siobhan Owen 13, born in Bangor to a Welsh father and Irish Mother moved with her family from Llanfairpwll to Australia when she was two and from there began her career as a Celtic singer.
Since the age of nine Siobhan has been one of Adelaide's
youngest talents performing a major solo performance in the show Shades of Green which was shown in theatres all over Southern Australia. She also recorded her debut album With Love From Siobhan at 10, appeared live on Radio Adelaide and entered the Balaklava Eisteddfod winning in the Classical Solo and Popular Solo vocal entrances as well as winning the Vocal Duet with fellow Australian Singer Victoria Anderson at the age of 13.
Siobhan currently attends St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Choir and St. Aloysius Choir College and also takes piano and dance classes.
Siobhan Owen is known to capture her audience with her "hauntingly beautiful" voice and whether she is performing the national anthem or performing in musicals it seems that the whole of the Southern Hemisphere cannot get enough of her.
Siobhan's unique voice is said to be inherited from her late grandmother, Mary Farrar, of Pentraeth ,and many of Siobhan's extended family still live in Bangor and Anglesey.
Valeska Laity , music teacher and Choir co-ordinator at St. Aloysius College said: "She has such an incredible gift and is still so young! Siobhan's potential is amazing."
