DOZENS of people braved the rain to line the streets of Caernarfon to show their appreciation to North Wales veterans for all they have done.
The spectacular event started with a Drumhead service within Caernarfon Castle followed by a parade through the town.
A Royal Air Force Spitfire of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flew over on Saturday as part of the town's celebrations of Veterans Day.
Also, the minehunter HMS Bangor berthed at the Public Quay in Holyhead so the crew join the parade.
They formed an 18-man platoon as part of a commemorative parade
The day was to raise awareness of the contributions veterans made during their time in the armed forces and to the communities of which they are now a part.
